Self Care and Motivation

Hi guys!

I’m back with another post and, as you may figured from the title, 
I’ll be talking about self care and motivation. This is an important topic to me as 
I’ve taken the past few weeks for self care, bettering myself and making myself  
happier. I (kinda) figured out what I want and what I can start doing to make 
myself feel better and look better. I made a whole list of things 
I want to do on my way to a better me. I’m here to share some 
of my goals and talk about the importance of self care and how to gain motivation 
to achieve your goals. 


So, the other day I read on Reddit about somebody who is starting a 100 
days challenge. Basically, he is taking the next 100 days to improve in the 
given areas and see the results. I was immediately intrigued and I thought  
about doing the same thing. So I took my notebook and wrote down the areas I  
wanted to improve myself in. The list is kinda long, I have to admit, and I haven’t  
been exactly following the rules, but yesterday I downloaded an app and started  
working out. I was so tired after, but I was proud that I was finally doing  
something. I won’t be able to work out two more days this week as I will not be  
home, but I’m ok with that. I understand that I am allowed to take breaks. 

One of my most important goals, next to working out and eating healthier, is to  
create an evening routine. And I don’t mean just a skincare routine, I mean a  
routine that will give me some time to unwind in the evenings. I am so busy these days, 
I’m going on a trip on Wednesday, I have oral exams and regular exams, 
plus a thousand other things and tasks that are slowly approaching their deadlines.  


I have quite a few assignments for tomorrow and also oral exams so I can’t do my night routine since I’m so busy and stressed. But I intend to take at least one day  
this week, maybe Friday, because I desperatly need that relaxation time. 

To end this post on a positive note, I think it’s important to motivate yourself  
somehow, be it to write down you goals, share them with your friends and get  
them to motivate you or any other way, you should find a way to achieve those  
goals. I will update you regularly and give you some information on how I’m  
doing. Maybe I’ve inspired you, maybe not, but in the end, it is your decision.
