Hi guys!

So, as you may know, yesterday was a huge strike all around the world

and today I'm here to express my opinion and hear yours.

First of all, if you didn't know, the global strike was against climate change

and thousands of teenagers and young people from all over the

world joined in. I personally think it was amazing that so many

people got together to change the world. 

I think this is one of the things that will be remembered as a huge

part of history and I really hope it caused change.

Sadly, I wasn't able to be a part of it, but I share their beliefs and if I could've gone,

I definitely would've. I think it's amazing how many people

got together from all sides of this planet we live on that is 

currently dying and how they protested for something that is a 

huge problem and as some of the signs said, if the educated won't do

anything, we will.

And to think it all happened because a 16-year old decided

to take some action and save the planet. This makes

me believe that the youth is our future. If we don't start to 

question everything, how will we make the world

we live in a better place. This is a serious problem and I'm grateful

that young people are starting to take action. Next year I'm

in high school and I think there will be more opportunities

for me to get involved and help. I really hope so, or otherwise

I'll just have to make them myself.

I am proud to live in this era where people take responsibility

and do something to help the world. Climate change is a 

of the problem surrounding us. I'm proud, but also afraid that

all those efforts were for nothing. What if the government didn't listen

and nothing is going to change? But, I stay optimistic and hope

for the best.
